Count Cesare Mattei of Bologna, Italy developed Electrohomeopathy in the Year 1865 in Bologana , Italy around the year 1865. Since then, it is being practiced in different countries. Electro homoeopathy was brought to India by Dr. Father Muller in 1865 in Karnataka. Dr. Baladev Prasad Saxena was the first Indian Electro homoeopath. Sources of medicines are purely herbal. Complex form of Medicines is prepared from spagyric essence of the plants prepared according to Theodor Krauss and Zimpel methods included in GHP and has been included in Drug and cosmetic act 1940, Second Schedule, section 184 (b). It is being practised throughout India. Various Institutions and organisations are working for the development asdesearch beside imparting Education in the field of Electro-Homeopathy.  It does not come under the preview of either of the Central/State Govt. Medical act.
