Martin Honigberger, an amateur Homoeopathic clinician, started homoeopathy in India in the year 1839. The, then, Bengal Government recognized the popularity gained by homoeopathy and in 1941. The state faculty of Homoeopathic Medicine was formed. India got independence in 1947 with divided Bengal 1963 was the year, when the West Bengal Homoeopathic system of medicine Act. 1963 (West Bengal Act. XXXIII of 1963) was passed. 1st August, 1964 is the red letter day. On that very day, Govt. of West Bengal, constituted and formed The Count Mattie Electro-Homeopathic Forum, West Bengal, The oldest Council of India.

Welcome to COUNT MATTEI ELECTRO-HOMEOPATHIC FORUM, WEST BENGAL

Count Cesare Mattei of Bologna, Italy developed Electrohomeopathy around the year 1865. Since then, it is being practiced in different countries. Electro homoeopathy was brought to India by Dr. Father Muller in between the year 1880-1890 in Karnataka. Dr. Baladev Prasad Saxena was the first Indian Electrohomoeopath. Sources of medicines are purely herbal. Complex form of Medicines are prepared from spagyric essence of the plants prepared according to Theodor Krauss and Zimpel methods as included in GHP. As new drugs comes under Drug and Cosmetic Act 1940, Second Schedule, Section 184 (b). It is being practised throughout India. Various Institutions and organisations are working for the development and researchincluding imparting Education in the field of Electro-Homeopathy.  It does not come under the preview of either of the Central/State Govt. Medical act.   Various organisations / Institutions are there but no research or clinics are run by them for clinical research and to see the efficacy of Electro-Homeopathy. The recognition of Electro-Homeopathy in under the consideration of the Govt. of India. To meet the demand of IDC Joint Proposalist Electrohomeopathic Committee did a lot. On behalf of JPEHC the entire proposal for submission was made and compiled by staff members of Count Mattei Electro-Homeopathic Forum, West Bengal. Clinical data are required to prove the efficacy of the system. While preparing the proposal all the organisations and Institutions were requisted to give clinical data along with the list of existing practitioners under them for submission to IDC but no one orwarded such lists as per criteria, hence to fulfil the remaining work, further research, development, imparting education and collection of clinical data Count Mattei Electro-homeopathic Forum, West Bengal came forward in 2019 with its permanent registered office at 1C, Charu Chandra Avenue, Kilkata – 700033 as purely neutral body and taken oath to work jointly with any organisation working honestly in the field of Electro-homeopathy without any colour or class. We fully discards or do not support any DEGREE / DIPLOMA in Electro-homeopathy issued by any organisation. As per G.O. no institution can award any DIPLOMA or DEGREE in Electrohomropathy or in any system which is not recognised by the Govt. CMEHF, WB is ready to help all Electrohomeopathic Practitioner Members or Organisation in all regards if working as per G.O. issued by the government. The organisation is still working to develop and revise Electrohomeopathic Pharmacopoeia, Plants Monograph used In Electro-homeopathy etc.
